ZooLights – Phoenix 2013
Zoolights is one of the biggest and most popular light displays in the valley. If you have not seen it, you should check it out!
The Phoenix Zoo is lit with 3.7 million lights and more than 700 dazzling displays. Look for the Tin Man, Cowardly Lion, Scarecrow and flying monkeys, 52 trees, a dozen 12-foot-tall floating light tubes and a shimmering 24-foot sphere all dancing in synchronization to tunes from “The Wizard of Oz” and the Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s “Wizards in Winter.” A carousel, camel rides, PolarSlide and zip line are available for an additional fee. Alcoholic beverages are offered this year on Friday and Saturday nights.
