We searched the Phoenix area for the best haunted houses to compile this list of 5 epic Hallowen horror experiences which provide a little something for everyone. From zombies to clowns to slauter houses, all your greatest fears are realized at these parks. Several of them even have non-horror attractions for the little ones, so you can bring the whole family!
13th Floor Haunted House
It’s creators claim that “legends and nightmares alike will come to life at the 13th Floor,” but this haunted house is a legend in and of itself. I recall hearing rumored tales of it being so frightening that not a single person could make it through, despite the hope of large prize waiting for anyone capable of reaching the end. Just a rumor, they say, but sure to deliver a night of terror!
Zombie Wars
So much more than an haunted house! This is a fully-interactive zombie fighting experience, where you are armed with nothing but a paintball gun to defend your people against the impending zombie apocalypse.
Dark Scares
Two attractions to pique your unique fears: The Dark Keep, a journey into a forgotten monastery, and Clownshire, a carnival museum gone wrong.
The Crypt Haunted Attractions
Three horrifying attractions at one location in Mesa (the Crypt, the Asylum, and Chaos) which offer an “adrenaline infused experience” to all who enter.
Scarizona Scaregrounds
This park has little something for all your frightening desires, including two haunted houses (Epic Fear and Slayer’s Slaughter House) AND Operation Zombie Storm, an interactive paintball attraction. It’s a full on fright-fest!
