While today we have 45,793 homes on the market, this number is down by approximately 10,000 from just a few months ago. In January the average sales price of a home in the Phoenix area was $322,048, which is 94.12% of the list price. These homes were on the market an average of 129 days. Over the past 30 days 8,991 new homes were listed while 2319 were sold, meaning that 1 in 4 homes that were listed sold last month. This is a MUCH better picture than a just a few months ago when only about 1 in 20 homes were selling.
