There is a proposal to keep Queen Creek eligible, but we won’t know until the end of September if this will happen. In the meantime, if you have any clients on the fence who were thinking about buying in these areas, please let them know that the 0% down USDA option will be going away in October.
We received big news from Rural Development regarding areas that will be ineligible for USDA 100% financing effective October 1st.
Queen Creek, San Tan Valley, and the City of Maricopa have been added onto the Ineligible Communities list. Below is a link to the Rural Development website where you can access the map for Maricopa and Pinal County to see which area’s will now be ineligible:
